STORY AND MYSTERY

The merchant Jürgen from the Hanseatic family of Knoggeburg is preparing for the upcoming council meeting. Time is money, and business must move on! That's why he has asked you to perform various tasks in his hall house. It's just a shame that you have an appointment with your friends to go bowling in 30 minutes—so you have to hurry! In this educational game, solve puzzles, combine items in the historically-recreated room, and use your razor-sharp wits to keep the merchant happy on time. Explore his source-based hall house and learn more about everyday professional and private life in the Hanseatic region. The focus is on the following three tasks:

• Put together the appropriate wardrobe for the merchant. But be careful: Some items of clothing have to be cleaned or dried beforehand in the medieval way.
• Draft an important letter, for which you have to stir up ink and find suitable formulations.
• Distribute delivered goods over the different floors of the house with the help of a cargo crane.

EDUCATIONAL GAME AND DIGITAL MUSEUM

The mobile educational game "Adventure Dielenhaus" is part of the digital offerings of the European Hanse Museum in Lübeck. It was created in cooperation with local historians and therefore places great importance on fact-based fiction—in combination with playful knowledge transfer about everyday life, architecture, the world of work, and parallels to today. The app can be played alone at home or under the guidance of a teacher in class to get an exciting insight into life in the 15th century in the Hanseatic region. The content is particularly suitable for teaching media skills and critically examining historical sources. Visitors to the European Hanse Museum Lübeck who have installed and played the local educational game app "Abenteuer Hanse" are in for a special surprise: the successes of "Abenteuer Dielenhaus" will be transferred to the family tree database on the "Abenteuer Dielenhaus" website, which also addresses the fictional family of the von Knoggeburgs. Scores can be saved locally on the device. No internet connection is required to play "Adventure Dielenhaus."
