This astronomy and meteorology toolkit, Astroweather, is designed for stargazers. It provides weather forecasts specifically tailored for astronomical observation.

Astroweather utilizes data from 7timer.org, incorporating astronomical weather predictions and displaying sunset/sunrise and moonrise/moonset times.

The web-based meteorological forecasts primarily rely on the NOAA/NCEP Global Forecast System (GFS) numerical weather model.

7Timer!, the foundation of Astroweather, launched in July 2005 as a research project supported by the National Astronomical Observatories of China. Subsequently upgraded in 2008 and 2011, it's currently supported by the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its creation stemmed from the author's personal need for reliable weather information for astronomical observation.
