Bien que cette fonctionnalité soit limitée à l'événement de la Fashion Week: repris, les joueurs peuvent également utiliser des passes de raid à distance pendant la journée Raid Shadow Ho-Oh le 19 janvier de 14h00 à 17h00, heure locale. En ce jour de raid spécial, les entraîneurs auront une chance accrue d'attraper l'insaisissable de l'ombre brillante Ho-oh et pourront lui enseigner la puissante attaque chargée, le feu sacré. De plus, les joueurs peuvent utiliser un TM chargé sur Shadow Pokemon pour remplacer la frustration du mouvement.
Les joueurs prévoient avec impatience la possibilité d'utiliser leurs passes de raid à distance dans les raids Shadow, une fonctionnalité qui a été fortement demandée depuis son introduction en 2023.
