The leak, which surfaced online and trended on Weibo, features unreleased game content. Feng Ji addressed the situation directly, emphasizing the importance of preserving the game's sense of discovery and the role-playing experience. He highlighted that a key element of Black Myth: Wukong's appeal lies in the player's initial curiosity and the unfolding surprises.

He urged players to avoid viewing or sharing leaked materials, and to actively protect others from spoilers. His message included a personal appeal: "If a friend tells you they want to avoid spoilers, please help them." Despite the leak, Feng remains confident that the game's unique experience will still captivate players, regardless of prior exposure to leaked content.
