The Guardians of the Road initiative has been relaunched with a new app, offering a more convenient and enhanced user experience.

Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

The "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project was launched in 2016 to raise awareness and encourage careful, safe driving. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Any citizen aged 18 and above can download the "Road Guards" app and start using it to report traffic violations.

The app is simple and quick to use. Activate it before you begin driving. When you witness a traffic offense, trigger the reporting feature in one of two ways: by using a voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then start recording and documenting the incident.

These reports are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic safety experience. After review, a "Notice of Violation" is sent to the documented driver with a link to a video of the offense. For life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded to the police for further action.
