New AFK Journey Season Unleashes Chains of Eternity

The free-to-play RPG AFK Journey receives regular seasonal updates, each introducing new maps, storylines, and heroes. The next season, "Chains of Eternity," is launching soon.

Chains of Eternity Release Date

The Chains of Eternity season arrives globally on January 17th. However, for servers under 35 days old, or those not meeting specific criteria, the release will be delayed. To access the new season, players must:

Achieve Resonance Level 240.
Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these requirements and having a server at least 35 days old ensures access on the official release date.

Chains of Eternity: New Content

Chains of Eternity brings significant additions to AFK Journey, including:

New Heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
New Boss: Illucia (Dream Realm)

This season also introduces changes to gameplay mechanics:

Daily AFK Progress Cap: A limit on daily idle progress.
Paragon Level Adjustments: Paragon levels will have a more substantial impact on gameplay.
Exclusive Equipment Enhancements: Significant boosts are implemented when upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20. This increases the value of investing in Supreme+ units, though the cost of upgrading past +15 is also higher.
