Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!
After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial release on PC two years ago. For those unfamiliar, think cassette tapes – those relics of the past your parents might remember!
Embark on a Cassette-Fueled Adventure
The game casts you as a castaway on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures to combat them. The island's very essence revolves around cassette tapes.
Your mission: survive and find your way home. This involves using your cassette player to record monsters, then playing back those recordings to become the monsters themselves!
Forge Alliances and Create Hybrids
Build relationships with the inhabitants of Harbourtown to unlock the ability to fuse monster forms with your partners, creating powerful and unique hybrid creatures. The possibilities are virtually limitless, as any two monsters can be combined.
Explore a Rich and Diverse World
New Wirral is brimming with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. Master the art of gliding, swimming, climbing, and even magnetism to uncover all its secrets.
Strategic Turn-Based Combat
The game features turn-based combat with an intricate elemental system. Experiment with elemental combinations to outmaneuver enemies, strengthen your team, and even alter opponents' elemental types mid-battle.
Bluetooth Controller Support (with caveats)
Cassette Beasts offers Bluetooth controller support, though some minor issues may arise. The game is free-to-play and available now on the Google Play Store.
