Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Head to Sapporo, Japan!

Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships will be held in Sapporo, Japan, marking a significant milestone for the competitive scene. This exciting announcement brings the first-ever offline ALGS tournament to Asia.

The event will take place at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 top teams vying for the championship title. Previously, ALGS tournaments have been held in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany.

EA highlighted the strong Japanese Apex Legends community and the considerable fan demand for an Asian-based event as key factors in choosing Sapporo. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about celebrating this milestone with a tournament at the prestigious Daiwa House Premist Dome.

Specific tournament details and ticket information will be revealed at a later date. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto welcomed the event, promising the city's full support for the athletes, officials, and fans.
