The Dark Knight's reign in the gaming world: A look back at the best Batman games. For a time, it seemed a new Batman game arrived almost annually. Rocksteady's acclaimed titles redefined superhero gaming, setting a high bar that persists today.

However, recent years have seen a noticeable decline in Batman's video game presence.
