Call of Duty: Warzone Glitch Allows Players to Equip Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Weapons

A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to equip Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is a temporary solution to a common player frustration: the inability to use hard-earned MW3 camos on the meta BO6 weapons prevalent in Warzone.

This unofficial method requires a friend's assistance and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match. The process involves equipping a BO6 weapon, then an MW3 weapon, repeatedly selecting the desired camo while manipulating match settings with a friend. The exact steps are complex and involve switching between private matches. However, the video demonstration makes the process clearer.

Important Note: This is an exploit, not an intended feature. Activision's developers, Treyarch Studios and Raven Software, are likely to patch this glitch in a future update. Players should proceed with caution.

The glitch addresses a significant player concern. While MW3 weapons remain available, many players focus on the meta BO6 weapons, rendering their MW3 camo progress effectively useless. The grind for mastery camos in BO6 (requiring numerous headshots and completing various challenges to unlock gold, diamond, dark spine, and ultimately, dark matter) is substantial. This glitch offers a workaround for those who've already achieved this in MW3.

Meanwhile, Treyarch has addressed another player complaint: the lack of in-game challenge tracking for BO6. This feature, present in MW3, will be added in a future update, improving the overall player experience.
