"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you're in for a treat with the return of some iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack features beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. With this new addition, you're free to choose your nostalgic favorite and integrate them into any scenario you desire. You're not limited to specific crime scenes or case files, which means you can mix and match these characters with the newer 2023 cast for a unique gaming experience.

The fanbase has been vocal about their desire to see these characters return, especially with the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has listened to the community and brought back these beloved suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode. This mode, which is completely free, harkens back to the original 1949 rules of the game. It revives old-school mechanics that alter how players move and make accusations. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet will always take the first move unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.

In this mode, you must be in a room to make an accusation, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players. This nostalgic twist adds a fresh layer of strategy to the game.
