In a statement to Eurogamer, the developer confirmed its independent publishing plans, previously announced during a public earnings call. While acknowledging and appreciating its business partners, Pearl Abyss emphasized its ongoing discussions about various collaborative opportunities.

A playable Crimson Desert build will be showcased to media this week in Paris and to the public at G-Star in November. The developer also clarified that no release date has been set, dismissing recent articles about release dates as speculation.

While official confirmation is pending, Crimson Desert is anticipated to launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms around Q2 2025. The final platform lineup and precise release date remain unannounced.
