The developers of Marvel Rivals are launching the Fantastic Four into battle

The new season kicks off with the arrival of the Fantastic Four! Hard to believe anyone could tire of 33 heroes in a single month, but the developers are already treating players to a brand-new quartet. Two—Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman—are here now, with Thing and Human Torch joining the fray later. Thing will be a tank, and Human Torch a duelist, both joining the Team-Up Fantastic Four.

Team-Up boosts Invisible Woman's healing capabilities, while Mister Fantastic gains a rapid health regeneration ability.

Invisible Woman

With relatively few support characters currently in the game, Invisible Woman provides a welcome addition and diverse gameplay for support players. Her attacks pierce through multiple characters, damaging enemies and healing allies simultaneously. This makes her highly effective in crowded areas. However, her range is limited, requiring proximity to teammates.

Invisible Woman, as her name suggests, can turn invisible. This requires 6 seconds of inactivity (no abilities, attacks, or being attacked). While lengthy, it does offer healing during invisibility. A more practical method is her double jump, providing a swift escape from danger. Save it for critical moments!

Right-clicking deploys a shield in front of an ally. It’s fragile, so strategically position it in front of duelists and reposition it frequently to injured allies, as it provides area healing.

She can also attract and repel opponents. Repelling serves primarily for self-defense, perhaps before a side-step. Attracting assists allies in closing the distance for an attack.

A projectile sphere pulls enemies into its area of effect, dealing damage. Excellent for controlling chokepoints and adding damage to groups.

Three consecutive melee attacks push enemies away, though this is often impractical due to vulnerability during the animation. Repelling or the double jump is generally preferable.

Her ultimate ability creates a healing and invisibility zone for the team. While useful, its stationary nature makes it vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks.

Invisible Woman offers a balanced gameplay experience. While not surpassing top-tier heroes like Luna Snow and Mantis, she’s comparable in effectiveness. Her tactical abilities and team support make her a valuable asset, though mastering her requires practice.

Mister Fantastic

Mister Fantastic is a unique and entertaining character, thanks to his powers. His attacks reach medium range, and aiming sideways causes his punches to hit any enemies in the path.

Using abilities and attacks fills a meter. At maximum, he automatically transforms into an inflated form, significantly increasing damage and durability.

Shift activates a damage absorption mode, releasing absorbed damage as a powerful shot.

He can attract characters, gaining a temporary shield. Attracting an ally grants them a shield; attracting an enemy deals damage. This is useful for battlefield movement and survivability.

Right-clicking extends his arm to immobilize an opponent, allowing him to either pull them in or grab another enemy for a combined aerial throw.

His ultimate ability involves a jump and area attack, dealing damage and slowing opponents. Hitting at least one enemy triggers a repeat attack. Similar to Bucky’s ultimate, but often less effective.

Mister Fantastic blends duelist and tank elements. He's powerful but doesn't quite match the top current heroes. Both new heroes are well-received, showcasing the developers’ commitment to unique character design. We eagerly await the remaining Fantastic Four additions this season.
