What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?

This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, a 3DS version launched in 2013, featuring eight exclusive levels. This HD release incorporates all original Wii levels plus those eight extra 3DS stages.

The game retains its challenging gameplay, but this version offers an easier mode (from the 3DS release) with extra hearts and assistance. Expect classic platforming action: jumping, vine swinging, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and more. Two-player couch co-op is also available with Diddy Kong.
