RGG Studio Launches Fan Vote for Like a Dragon 20th Anniversary Merchandise

RGG Studio is celebrating the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Like a Dragon series (December 2025) with a fan vote to determine which in-game items will be made into real-world merchandise. The vote, running from February 8th, 2025 to March 21st, 2025, features 100 items ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, and Kiryu's iconic dragon mask. Fans can vote once daily. The winning item will be produced and released within two years. A subsequent survey will determine the winning item's design.

The announcement was made alongside news of the upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, launching February 20th, 2025. This new title, featuring Majima's high-seas adventures narrated by Samoa Joe as Pirate King Raymond Law, will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Potential for Further Remakes

RGG Studio's 10th-anniversary celebrations included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. While no specific remake announcements have been made for the 20th anniversary, fans anticipate further remakes or significant announcements leading up to the milestone.

PC requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii were also revealed. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, making the game accessible to most modern gaming PCs. The game is also confirmed to be Steam Deck Verified.
