eFootball's Captain Tsubasa Collaboration Continues with Volume Two!
eFootball is thrilled to announce the second installment of its exciting collaboration with the renowned manga series, Captain Tsubasa! This new volume delivers a fresh wave of themed rewards for players to acquire.
For those unfamiliar, Captain Tsubasa is a long-standing multimedia franchise, originating as a manga by Yoichi Takahashi. It follows Tsubasa Oozora's journey from aspiring amateur to global football superstar.
This update significantly expands the collaboration, introducing new log-in bonuses. These include special edition cards, illustrated by Takahashi himself, featuring football legends like Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi. Additionally, players can obtain crossover cards pairing Captain Tsubasa characters with real-life football icons, such as Michel Platini with Elle Sid Pierre, and Diego Forlán with Ramon Victorino.
More Than Just a Collaboration:
Captain Tsubasa holds iconic status in the manga world, alongside Western favorites like Dragon Ball and One Piece. Its influence on the modern sports manga genre is undeniable, paving the way for titles such as Blue Lock. Even those unfamiliar with the series will appreciate its significant impact.
Beyond the collaboration, eFootball has also launched in-game qualifiers for the eFootball Championship 2025 Open. Round one runs until February 6th, offering participants the chance to compete for the coveted World Champion title.
