The Fantastic Four's full reunion in this winter's hit game is imminent! Next Friday's major update to Marvel Rivals will introduce The Thing and The Human Torch, adding two powerful characters to the roster.

A ranked checkpoint arrives in just 10 days, rewarding participating players. Gold rank and above unlocks exclusive skins, while Grandmaster rank and higher earns a prestigious Crest of Honor.

However, a partial rank reset—a four-division deduction for all players—has sparked controversy. Many players express frustration at losing hard-earned progress mid-season, fearing it might deter casual players from engaging in ranked matches.

The developers remain receptive to player feedback. If the response to the reset is predominantly negative, they've indicated a willingness to reconsider their approach in future updates.
