Fortnite Anime Crossover Leaks Unveiled!

Fortnite Rumored to Crossover with Popular Anime Kaiju No. 8

Recent leaks suggest a potential crossover between the wildly popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the hit anime series, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, such a collaboration would be a logical move by Epic Games. Further fueling speculation, leaks also point to a possible Demon Slayer crossover.

The buzz began with a prominent Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, hinting at the Kaiju No. 8 collaboration. This follows the upcoming arrival of Godzilla on January 17th, obtainable through the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass. The timing aligns with Fortnite's recent post-Winterfest update, which introduced new cosmetics, gameplay adjustments (such as instrument back blings and pickaxes), and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival. These updates have coincided with a flurry of rumors surrounding future content.

Kaiju No. 8, originally a manga, received an anime adaptation in 2024, with a second season slated for 2025. The story centers around Kafka Hibino, who gains kaiju-transforming abilities after an unusual encounter. His subsequent involvement with a monster-eliminating organization forms the core of the narrative. A Kaiju No. 8 crossover would place it alongside other successful anime collaborations in Fortnite, such as Dragon Ball Z.

More Than Just Kaiju No. 8?

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, the rumor mill also suggests a potential Demon Slayer crossover for Fortnite. While details remain scarce on both collaborations, many fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and some even hope for in-game map representation of characters from both franchises.

Adding to the excitement, leaks suggest the addition of more MonsterVerse characters beyond Godzilla. King Kong and Mechagodzilla cosmetics are reportedly on the way. With this wave of new content, the Fortnite community eagerly anticipates Epic Games' plans for the remainder of 2025.
