Exciting news for fans of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby anime! Cygames has officially confirmed an English version of its popular horse-girl racing simulation game. A Japanese version already boasts impressive reviews, and now global audiences can get in on the action.

Cygames has launched an official English website, YouTube channel, and X (formerly Twitter) account to keep fans updated on the global release.

For newcomers, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is part of a larger multimedia franchise encompassing anime, manga, and more. Its popularity stems largely from the success of the anime series.

Initially released in Japan and Asia in February 2021 for Android and iOS, the game features horse girls – racehorses reincarnated as girls – competing in the "Twinkle Series," a national sports entertainment show, to become top idols.

While the global release is imminent, characters like Gold Ship from Team Spica have already appeared in globally released games like Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, hinting at future crossovers once the English version launches.
