Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, blasts off January 9th! This update introduces Durandal's exciting new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, along with fresh events and story content.

Reign Solaris: A Dual-Form Powerhouse

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode transforms her into a hoverboard-riding whirlwind, delivering rapid-fire combos. Her ultimate ability sees her soaring into the air, unleashing a powerful javelin strike that obliterates enemies.

New Gear and Stigmata

Reign Solaris receives powerful new weaponry: the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These enhance QTEs and increase javelin count. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, depicts Durandal's parallel universe escapades, showcasing diverse activities like soccer, music, and skateboarding.

Main Story Expansion and New Cube Game

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Ten Shus War narrative on Mars. Dreamseeker and her team delve deeper into Coralie's fate and encounter a character connected to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, challenges players to cleanse corrupted data as Cube-ianka. Rewards include 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and more.

Countdown: To Sweet Dreams Event

This comedic event reunites familiar faces like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, along with Griseo, Carole, and Vita. Players assist Kiana in a boss battle involving falling drumsticks, command followers in combat, and even engage in monster training. Rewards include Emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's stylish new outfit, Steering Inequations.
