Monster Walk RPG Launches in Android Early Access

Talofa Games has launched Monster Walk, its new monster-collecting RPG, into early access. The game is now available on Android and iOS in the UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, and Denmark. A wider release, including in the United States, is planned for later this year.

The studio's debut mobile title was Run Legends, an interactive fitness game. It gained popularity for its unique mechanic where players' physical movements directly controlled in-game attacks and abilities, requiring walking or running to succeed in battles.

Now, their second release continues this fusion of movement and fantasy. Monster Walk is an RPG adventure entirely driven by your steps. Whether walking the dog or heading to a local café, you can explore mysterious lands and capture a variety of fascinating creatures.

Steps tracked by your phone or wearable device convert into in-game energy. This resource is used for collecting materials, hatching eggs, and training your monsters. Essentially, every step replenishes stamina, powers up attacks, and contributes to upgrading your base.

The game features a diverse collection of monsters to befriend. Each creature possesses unique skills, and you can level them up and deepen your bond through daily activity. Your progress also unlocks new regions and allows for upgrades to your home hub.

Monster Walk features substantial real-time combat. Engage in fast-paced, bullet-hell style battles where you dodge, block, and counter enemy attacks. These encounters occur spontaneously as you explore the world.

Players can tackle daily and weekly challenges, which involve meeting step goals, hunting for rare monsters, or completing seasonal quests.

If you are located in one of the early access countries, you can download Monster Walk from the Google Play Store now.
