LEGO Launches New Lord of the Rings Contest With Big Rewards

From June 23 to August 6, LEGO Ideas is hosting a building contest featuring several rare and high-value prizes. The theme, "A Night to Remember in the Shire," invites fans to submit their best birthday party ideas set in the iconic, tranquil village. Creativity and originality are key, so participants have plenty of time to develop and build their unique entries.

Contest Details

The contest is divided into several stages to ensure all entries are evaluated fairly. Here's the breakdown:

Building Phase

This phase runs until August 6 at 6 AM EST, with a grace period for edits until the end of August 7.

Expert Phase

After submissions close, LEGO experts will review all entries and select five finalists. These five will advance to the Fan Vote starting August 25.

Voting Phase

LEGO Ideas members can cast one vote each between August 25 and September 8, determining the ultimate contest winner.

Winners Announcement

Results will be published on LEGO Ideas on September 25. Winners will be contacted via email to confirm their LEGO ID, after which the prizes listed above will be shipped.
