EA confirms plans to bring many of its popular titles to the Nintendo Switch 2. In a recent investor call, CEO Andrew Wilson indicated strong interest in the new console, highlighting the potential for franchises like Madden NFL and EA SPORTS FC to thrive on the platform. He also mentioned The Sims as a game likely to perform well, citing the success of My Sims and the acquisition of many new players on previous Nintendo consoles. While specific details remain undisclosed, Wilson's comments suggest a significant EA presence on the Switch 2.

The announcement sparks speculation regarding the versions of Madden and EA SPORTS FC to be released. Past releases on the original Switch have been "legacy" versions, but recent efforts have focused on feature parity. The Switch 2's increased power suggests that future titles, like EA SPORTS FC 26, could offer a gaming experience closer to their PlayStation, Xbox, and PC counterparts.
