Marvel Snap's Sanctum Showdown: A New Limited-Time Mode
Get ready for a spellbinding showdown! Marvel Snap has launched a new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown, offering a unique competitive experience. This two-week event introduces fresh snapping mechanics, a new win condition, and a special Sanctum location.
New Rules, New Victories:
Forget the usual six-turn matches. In Sanctum Showdown, the first player to reach 16 points wins! The Sanctum location is key, awarding the most points each turn. Snapping gets a twist too. From turn three onwards, you can snap once per turn, boosting the Sanctum's point value and keeping the game dynamic.
Rewards and Progression:
Each match costs one Scroll, but victory earns you another, fueling continuous play. You begin with 12 Scrolls, replenishing by two every eight hours. Run out? Purchase more for 40 Gold. Regardless of win or loss, every match contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and awards Charms, redeemable in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetics and new cards.
Strategic Considerations:
Prepare for a strategic shift! Certain cards and locations are banned to maintain fairness, including those that manipulate final scores. Cards like Debrii are also removed to prevent overpowered strategies. Think carefully about your deck composition! Use our Marvel Snap tier list to help you build the optimal deck.
Exclusive Card Acquisition:
Looking to add Laufey, Gorgon, or Uncle Ben to your collection? Sanctum Showdown is your exclusive opportunity to acquire these cards before their March 13th Token Shop release. Participate in Portal Pulls for a chance to unlock them and other Series 4 or 5 cards for free.
Don't Miss Out:
Sanctum Showdown is available in Marvel Snap until March 11th. Head to the official website for further details.
