Metaphor: ReFantazio - How To Beat Faithwight Magileto

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter demands strategic preparation and a bit of luck.

Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses, Skills, and Resistances

Weakness Repel Resists Blocks
Strike Light, Dark, Pierce, Electric

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic (single-target and AoE), the highly damaging Megidolaon (AoE), and passive buffs amplifying these elemental attacks. It also employs Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon level 50 skeleton minions.

These minions possess potent slashing attacks, dark magic, powerful buffs, and access to a high-powered healing spell, capable of quickly restoring the Magileto's health. Their weakness lies in Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory

Even at level 50, this battle is incredibly tough. Preparation is key:

  • Archetype Selection & Skill Inheritance: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to dark, light, and slash damage (Warlock, Thief). Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype. Acquire Dark Dodge (Magic Knight) and Light Dodge (Healer).
  • Focus on Strength: If you have many Archetypes unlocked and can utilize Skill Inheritance, prioritize strength-based Archetypes.
  • Healing and Strike Attacks: Equip at least two party members with party-wide healing spells. Prioritize Strike attacks to maximize Press Turn Icons.
  • Tetrabreak: Carry Tetrabreak to counter enemy Tetrakarn.
  • Dekaja: Dekaja can dispel buffs from summoned enemies.

Gameplay Tactics:

The fight involves an element of chance; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Prioritize Dark and Light Dodge for your party to mitigate damage. Immediately eliminate summoned allies before they can heal the Magileto. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.

This encounter demands careful planning and execution. By focusing on the Magileto's weaknesses, mitigating its strengths, and utilizing strategic skills, you can increase your chances of success.
