Monster Hunter Wilds: Second Open Beta Announced!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't despair! A second chance to hunt arrives in early February, bringing new monsters and content. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a two-part Open Beta Test on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

New Monster and Beta Dates:
The Open Beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this beta introduces the Gypceros, a familiar foe from previous Monster Hunter titles. Check out the gameplay:

Carryover and Rewards:
Character data from the first beta can be carried over to this one and, subsequently, the full game (though progress won't transfer). Participants will receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack.

Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team received requests from players who missed the first or wanted another chance to play. While recent community updates detailed improvements, these won't be included in this beta as they are still under development.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to hunt!
