Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Gets Early April Release Date, Adds an Endgame Hub for Players to Gather

by Claire Mar 01,2025

Capcom unveils early details for Monster Hunter Wilds' first major patch, slated for early April. Following the game's launch, Capcom announced Title Update 1 (TU1) on Steam, stating the slightly delayed release (a month post-launch) will allow players ample time to prepare for the new challenges.

TU1 introduces a significantly tougher monster, surpassing even Tempered monsters in difficulty. Capcom urges players to "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!"

A notable addition is a new endgame gathering hub. This social space, accessible after completing the main story, will allow hunters to meet, communicate, dine, and more. While similar to Gathering Hubs in previous titles, Capcom hasn't used that terminology here. This addresses the game's current lack of a dedicated social area beyond player camps.

Initial player reaction to the endgame hub is mixed, with some welcoming its addition while others question its absence at launch.

Alongside TU1, Capcom released a troubleshooting guide to address issues reported in Steam user reviews. For those starting their Monster Hunter Wilds journey, numerous guides are available, covering hidden game mechanics, weapon types, a walkthrough, multiplayer, and beta character transfer.

IGN's review awarded Monster Hunter Wilds an 8/10, praising its improved accessibility while noting a lack of significant challenge.
