First Mortal Kombat 1 T-1000 Gameplay Looks Straight Out of Terminator 2, and There's a Surprise Kameo DLC Character Coming Too

NetherRealm Studios unveils the T-1000 and Madam Bo for Mortal Kombat 1. Gameplay footage showcases the T-1000's Terminator 2-inspired moveset, featuring Robert Patrick's voice and likeness. A brutal Fatality recreates the iconic truck chase scene.

PlaySimultaneously, Madam Bo, a popular character from the main story, joins the roster as a Kameo fighter. A brief glimpse of her gameplay is shown in the trailer.

The T-1000 becomes available March 18th for Khaos Reigns early access owners, with general release on March 25th. Madam Bo launches March 18th as a free update for Khaos Reigns owners or a standalone purchase.

The T-1000 concludes the Khaos Reigns DLC, following Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, and Conan the Barbarian. Speculation about a potential Kombat Pack 3 persists, fueled by Warner Bros. Discovery's continued investment in the Mortal Kombat franchise and NetherRealm's three-year-old decision on their next project.

Madam Bo joins the Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo fighter roster.
Ed Boon previously stated NetherRealm's commitment to supporting Mortal Kombat 1 long-term, while hinting at future projects. While an Injustice sequel is anticipated by many fans, neither NetherRealm nor Warner Bros. has confirmed this. Boon cited the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to Unreal Engine 4 as factors influencing the decision to develop another Mortal Kombat title before returning to the Injustice series. He explicitly confirmed that the Injustice franchise remains a possibility.
