Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's end of service (EOS) is scheduled for February 20th, 2025. In-app purchases were previously halted on December 19th, 2024.
While Nexon expressed gratitude to the player community, the official announcement lacked specific reasons for the game's closure. This news comes as little surprise, given the game's relatively poor performance since its November 2023 launch.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action-packed Musou combat and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, engaging in battles across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game also featured a story mode covering historical events like the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
Players wishing to experience Dynasty Warriors M before its EOS can still download it from the Google Play Store. The final chapter of the game will be released this month. Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage of Tears of Themis' Legend of Celestial Romance update.
