Path of Exile 2 Unveils Ascendancy Classes

by Leo Feb 11,2025

Unlocking the Power of Ascendancies in Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2's Early Access release has players eager to explore the depth of each class. While not a subclass system in the traditional sense, Ascendancies provide specialized abilities and unique playstyles. This guide details how to unlock and utilize these powerful enhancements.

Unlocking Your Ascendancy

Before accessing Ascendancies, players must complete a specific trial: the Act 2 Trial of the Sekhemas or the Act 3 Trial of Chaos. Completing either unlocks Ascendancy selection and rewards you with two passive Ascendancy points. The earlier Act 2 trial is recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.
