Atlus's recent job postings have ignited speculation about the highly anticipated Persona 6. The company's official recruitment page reveals openings suggesting active development on the next mainline Persona game.
(c) Atlus Game*Spark reports that Atlus is recruiting a new producer for its Persona team. The "Producer (Persona Team)" role requires AAA game and IP experience to manage the franchise's production. Additional postings for 2D character designers, UI designers, and scenario planners further fuel the anticipation.
Director Kazuhisa Wada previously hinted at future Persona installments. While Persona 6 remains unconfirmed, these job listings strongly suggest Atlus is preparing for a significant new release in the series.
It's been almost eight years since Persona 5. Numerous spin-offs, remakes, and ports have kept fans engaged, yet details about the next mainline entry remain scarce. Whispers of Persona 6 have circulated since 2019, suggesting concurrent development alongside titles like P5 Tactica and P3R. With P3R's remarkable sales success (over one million copies sold in its first week), the franchise's momentum is undeniable. A 2025 or 2026 release window has been speculated, and an official announcement seems imminent.
