Pokémon GO Fest Returns in 2025

Get ready for Pokemon GO Fest 2025! Niantic is breaking with tradition and announcing the dates early this year. Three in-person events are planned for June 2025, across three exciting locations.

Pokemon GO Fest 2025 Dates and Locations:

• GO Fest Osaka, Japan: May 29 – June 1
• GO Fest Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 – June 8
• GO Fest Paris, France: June 13 – June 15

Tickets aren't on sale yet, but now's the time to plan your travel and PTO! Past events have required selecting a specific day within the event window.

A global GO Fest event is anticipated later in June or early July, mirroring previous years, though no official date has been confirmed.

This year's locations include returning favorites (Japan and the USA) and a new addition (France, replacing Spain from 2024).

Event Details (So Far):

While Niantic is being tight-lipped on specifics for now, focusing on the upcoming GO Tour: Unova, GO Fest typically features exciting Pokemon debuts, increased raid activity, special spawns, Shiny Pokemon releases, and other bonuses. More details will likely surface after the conclusion of the GO Tour: Unova in February 2025. Last year's event introduced Necrozma and the Fusion mechanic, setting a precedent for exciting reveals.
