Pokemon GO “Steely Resolve” Event: Corviknight Arrives!

The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This event adds a significant boost to the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.

The arrival was initially hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is now over!

Steely Resolve Event Details:

• Dates: January 21st (10:00 AM local time) – January 26th (8:00 PM local time)
• New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, Corviknight

Event Features:

• Special Research: A new Dual Destiny Special Research with unique rewards.
• Field Research Tasks: Complete tasks for various in-game rewards.
• Paid Timed Research: A $5 option offering additional rewards.
• Bonuses:
  • Use a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
  • Magnetic Lure Modules will attract Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
• Increased Spawns: Boosted encounter rates for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and more (see full list below).
• Shiny Pokémon: Increased chances of encountering shiny versions of several Pokémon (indicated by * below).

Featured Attacks: Evolving specific Pokémon during the event will grant them powerful new attacks (see list below).

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st – 26th):

• Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards), increased daily battle set limit (20 sets, 100 battles), free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes, and varied Pokémon stats in GO Battle League rewards.

• Leagues: Master League, Great League, Ultra League.
