The alleged kidnapping incident occurred on November 24, 2024, in southwest Houston. According to ABC13, two women (ages 19 and 20) spent the day with Pritchett, participating in activities like ATV riding and bowling. The situation escalated when Pritchett allegedly threatened them at gunpoint, sped away on I-10, confiscated their phones, and reportedly threatened to kill them. The women later reported Pritchett expressed anxiety about being pursued and mentioned accusations of arson.

After stopping his vehicle, Pritchett allegedly allowed the women to escape. Charged on December 26, 2024, with two counts of aggravated kidnapping, he had already fled to Doha, Qatar, on December 9th, using a one-way ticket.
