The first "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction, a new mechanic. It happens when you destroy a Dracula-influenced object, and it reappears in its original form. Don't just start smashing everything; focus on specific items.

To identify these objects, use Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad). Only red-highlighted items trigger Recursive Destruction.

How to Trigger Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

This challenge requires Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted items appear. Wait for the first checkpoint; two destructible buildings will then become available to trigger Recursive Destruction.

While battling, find time to target these buildings. The chaos of the match might obscure their reappearance, but hitting them a few times should complete the challenge.
