Rune Slayer: Mastering Mount Acquisition

Dive into the world of *Rune Slayer*, a Roblox MMORPG brimming with quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing! But no true MMORPG is complete without a trusty mount, and *Rune Slayer* delivers. While acquiring a mount isn't overly complex, the game doesn't explicitly guide you through the process. Fear not, this guide will show you the way.

Recommended Preparations Before Mounting Your Pet

Before you start galloping across the Rune Slayer landscape, ensure you meet these prerequisites:

• Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of questing, job completion, and mob slaying. Having friends to quest with can significantly speed this up.
• Tame a Pet: You'll receive a quest that guides you through the process, but here's the gist:
  • Find a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  • Attack it once.
  • Hold a food item the animal enjoys (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  • A heart will appear above its head. If it fully grows, you've tamed it! A black heart means you failed; try again with a different animal.

Completing the Mount Quest

Once you hit level 20, visit Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire. He'll offer the "Jimmy's Delivery" quest, requiring you to deliver a package to the Ashenshire Stable Master.

Accept the quest and head north through Wayshire's northern entrance. Follow the path, climbing the hill into Greatwood Forest (avoid wandering too far; the mobs are challenging). Continue north until you reach Ashenshire, identifiable by its large houses perched atop trees.

Find a rope to climb, then speak to Madonna the Stable Master (the first NPC you'll encounter; she won't have a quest marker). Select "I have a package for you." Return to Wayshire and speak to Jimmy; he'll reward you with a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory.

Mounting Your Pet

Summon your pet (hold "T"), approach it, and select "Mount" (press "E"). Enjoy your high-speed travel! This works with all mountable pets.
