Scarlet Girls: Build Your Ultimate 2D Squad - Beginner's Guide

by Skylar May 16,2025

Dive into the thrilling universe of *Scarlet Girls*, a brand-new Idle RPG that introduces an all-female squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus. Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, the game unfolds in a world where mutated animals and powerful beings have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. As one of humanity's last hopes, your mission is to recruit and train these mecha girls to battle against the formidable catastromechs and restore peace on Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core game mechanics and game modes, empowering you to enhance your account's power and progress. Let's get started!

Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls

The heart of *Scarlet Girls* lies in its completely Idle-based combat system, perfect for players seeking a casual gaming experience without the need for manual battles. The action unfolds in a turn-based format, where both allies and enemies act according to their Speed stat. A round concludes once all participants have taken their turns. You can deploy up to 5 characters in combat, and the game features a helpful "Quick Dispatch" option that automatically sets your formations based on the strongest characters available. Once your lineup is set, you can sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the visually stunning animations accompanying each character's special abilities.

Your characters, officially termed "Stellaris," come equipped with powerful active and passive abilities that they deploy automatically during combat. Each skill operates on a cooldown timer, becoming unavailable for a set number of turns after use. The key to success lies in crafting synergistic squads of mecha girls to overpower your enemies. While the battles unfold in real-time, your role as a player is primarily strategic, focusing on deploying powerful characters and crafting effective line-ups to amplify their strengths.

Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four core classes, each with unique utility:

  • Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, designed to absorb enemy fire and protect their teammates.
  • Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, ideal for providing utility from the backline.
  • Devastator – Specializes in unleashing heavy firepower, capable of dealing devastating energy damage to enemies.
  • Assaulter – Skilled in wielding bladed weapons, focused on inflicting physical damage to swiftly take down targets.

Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls

Recruitment of Stellaris occurs through the game's gacha system, known as "Echo." Stellaris come in various rarities – R, SR, SSR, and SSR+ – with higher rarity characters boasting superior base stats in Attack, Defense, and HP. These higher rarity Stellaris also access more potent abilities that can turn the tide of battle when used strategically. At the global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is your gateway to acquiring R to SSR Stellaris, using Echo tickets or Diamonds for summons.

An SSR character is guaranteed within 40 summons on this banner, and each summon grants 20 echo points. Accumulating 2000 points allows you to summon a random SSR character from one of the four elemental banners, excluding Nebula. You can track this progress on the right-hand side of the Echo system. The recruitment probabilities for different rarities are as follows:

  • R Stellaris – 19.979% chance per individual R character
  • SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance per individual SR character
  • SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance per individual SSR character
  • SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance per individual SSR+ character

To elevate your *Scarlet Girls* experience, consider playing on a larger screen using your PC or laptop, complete with keyboard and mouse support via BlueStacks for a smoother, more immersive gameplay!
