The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event has players on a scavenger hunt, but one task proves particularly tricky: finding the Special Time Capsule. This guide provides a clear path to this hidden treasure before the event concludes.
The event begins with a quest to gather information about a mysterious visitor, Emit. While tasks like watching TV and checking social media are straightforward, locating the Special Time Capsule presents a challenge. The only clue? Search for rocks in parks.
Having already spoken to Emit in Willow Creek park, focus your search in that area. Examine rocks until you find one containing what looks like diamonds. Interact with it to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Note that multiple rocks might need investigation, but plenty are available.

Opening the Special Time Capsule reveals an IOU note—a somewhat underwhelming reward for the effort involved. Nevertheless, read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.
