KEMCO's latest release, Eldgear, is a tactical, turn-based RPG set in the fantasy world of Argenia. Players uncover ancient, magically-powered machines and strive to prevent a catastrophic conflict. The game blends magic, mystery, and intricate mechanics.
Argenia is transitioning from a medieval age to one dominated by magic. Hundreds of nations vie for control in this unexplored territory, leading to widespread conflict. The discovery of powerful ancient technology within ruins ignites a fierce war, eventually subsiding into a tense peace.
Eldia, a global task force, takes center stage. Their mission: to prevent the ancient weapons and machines from reigniting all-out war. They research, monitor, and control access to these dangerous relics.
Eldgear's combat system, while turn-based and strategically rich, features unique mechanics. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) system allows equipping three abilities per unit, usable at any time. These can range from stat boosts to tactical options like Stealth or bodyguard capabilities.
The EXA (Expanding Abilities) system unlocks devastating attacks when Tension reaches its maximum during battles. Powerful and mysterious GEAR machines, some protective, others hostile, add another layer to the gameplay. See them in action below!
Worth a Look? -------------Eldgear is available now on the Google Play Store for $7.99, supporting both English and Japanese. Currently, controller support is unavailable, requiring touchscreen controls. Check out our other news on Pocket Necromancer, a new game featuring undead allies against demons.
