Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After exiting the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the sprawling Garbage area. Due to the distance from your starting base, encountering traders in this region requires some progression.

Slag Heap traders in Stalker 2 Garbage area.

Initially, quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks its location. This involves prior visits to the Detention Center and the Laboratory, culminating in a meeting with Scar. Following this, the game will direct you to the Slag Heap, situated north of the laboratory. However, you can explore this area earlier if desired.

The Slag Heap features two key traders:

Boozer: Located at the entrance, Boozer runs the bar, offering food and drinks while accepting a wide range of trade goods. He's hard to miss.
Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also serves as your stash, allowing you to store extra items. Interacting with Huron also initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech is also present at the back of the left corridor. You'll encounter him while progressing the main questline through Diode.
