*Arise Crossover* may seem straightforward at first glance—you collect Shadow units and attack enemies to strengthen your team. However, as you delve deeper, the game's complexities can be overwhelming, leaving even seasoned players puzzled about progression, leveling, and optimal Shadow choices. If you find yourself in this position, this guide is designed to help you navigate the game more effectively.
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers several recruitable Shadows and one powerful dungeon Shadow. The weakest unit, **Soondoo**, is available from the start, while the strongest, **Mifalcon**, is found on the final Brum Island. However, the key to success lies not just in the type of Shadow but in their ranks. A **Rank A Soondoo** can outperform a **Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units have the potential to reach higher levels; for instance, a **Rank D unit** tops out at **Level 75**, whereas an **SS Unit** can reach **Level 200**. The ultimate goal is to assemble a team of four **SS-ranked Mifalcons**, but getting there is part of the challenge.
Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you can complete the entire dungeon. These portals can spawn at various locations on each island with varying difficulty ranks. Start by forming a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island to build a solid foundation of units, possibly including a rare boss Shadow. Dungeons are the primary source for recruiting Rare and higher-ranked common units.
When a portal spawns, seize the opportunity to enter, even if your team isn't the strongest. Position yourself near the portal and wait for more experienced players to join; many are willing to help boost newcomers through dungeons. This community support is crucial for recruiting higher-ranked Shadows and advancing in the game. We've experienced this firsthand when a kind player helped us through a **Rank A dungeon** with our **Rank C units**, enabling us to recruit **Rank A units** and eventually reach the endgame. We encourage you to pay it forward as you progress.
During the Beta phase, player weapons in *Arise Crossover* are largely ineffective. While they may offer some early-game assistance, their impact diminishes significantly by the second island. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most powerful common weapon available, costs **60 million** and deals **516,1K damage**. In comparison, Shadow units can deal damage in the hundreds of millions. Therefore, unless you have excess funds, it's advisable to save your money until future updates enhance weapon utility.
Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new spawn, though you won't be notified if someone else claims it or if it vanishes. Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on smaller side islands between major ones. Consult the developer's map for specific spawn points.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and capturing attempts can fail. **Flying mounts** are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts** appear more frequently. **Water mounts** can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC. To acquire a mount, monitor the server messages and swiftly navigate to the potential spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount significantly eases travel. We're still on the hunt for our own flying mount.
This guide will continue to evolve with game updates. In the meantime, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some exciting freebies to enhance your gameplay experience.
