Gold Armor is a game-changer in Call of Duty Zombies, offering a significant upgrade over standard armor. This guide details how to obtain the Gold Armor Vest in Black Ops 6’s The Tomb map.

Gold Armor's Benefits

Introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Gold Armor automatically repairs itself over time, eliminating the constant need for armor plating. This is especially crucial for resource management and survival against powerful enemies like Amalgams. While manual plating remains an option, the self-repairing feature ensures you’re always protected.

Obtaining the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Acquire Statue Heads: Locate two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus. These are found inside destructible wooden boxes; use melee attacks to break them open.

   

   The first box is near a palm tree in the corner of the Dark Aether Nexus closest to the green Gateway portal. The second is easily visible near the Juggernog Perk Machine on the same raised platform.

2. Repair Roman Statues: Return to the Dig Site and place the statue heads on the two ruined Roman statues. One is near the Ammo Cache, the other near the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area). Interact with each statue to place a head.

3. Complete the Blood Sacrifice: After placing both heads, a new interaction prompt will appear. Activating this initiates a Blood Sacrifice, a challenging encounter against multiple high-value target (HVT) enemies (Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts). The challenge forces players to 1 HP, making armor crucial. More HVTs spawn with increased player counts. Existing enemies remain on the map.

   

   Strategies for Survival:

   • Solo: Use a Mutant Injection to transform into a Mangler, negating damage. Time the transformation to coincide with the Blood Sacrifice activation. Melee the HVTs.
   • Co-op: One player activates the sacrifice, while another, outside the Dig Site, utilizes a Chopper Gunner to eliminate the HVTs from afar.

4. Claim Your Reward: After surviving both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest becomes available for purchase as a free Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.
