Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The month kicks off with a mix of new releases and returning favorites, catering to various tastes.

New Arrivals:

Microsoft's January 7th announcement on the official Xbox blog revealed seven new additions. Road 96, a choice-driven adventure game, is immediately available across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This marks a return for Road 96, previously available on the service. Six other games join the lineup later in the month:

• January 8th: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, Rolling Hills.
• January 14th: UFC 5, Diablo.

Noteworthy is the tiered access for Diablo (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass) and UFC 5 (Game Pass Ultimate only). The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate Perks:

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departures:

Six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
