Nintendo Tokyo's latest gachapon offering features six magnetic Zonai Device capsule toys, directly inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Learn more about this exciting new collectible.
Nintendo Tokyo's gacha machines (also known as gachapon) now dispense collectible magnetic Zonai Devices. This exclusive collection features six iconic devices from Tears of the Kingdom: the Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, and Rocket. Each miniature device includes a magnet styled after the Ultrahand's adhesive, mirroring the in-game fusion mechanic. The capsules themselves are designed to resemble the in-game Device Dispensers.
These collectibles offer a fun alternative to in-game resource gathering. Each capsule costs approximately $4, with a two-capsule purchase limit per transaction. Due to the game's popularity, expect potential queues.
Nintendo's gachapon initiative began in June 2021 with the Controller Button Collection, featuring retro Famicom and NES controller keychains. A second wave, released in July 2024, expanded the collection to include SNES, N64, and GameCube controllers.
These collectibles are available at Nintendo Stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and also at the Narita Airport Check-In booth. While the Zonai Devices are currently Tokyo-exclusive, future availability at other locations or through resellers (at potentially higher prices) is possible.
