Game Introduction

Play StopotS, the ultimate categories word game!

StopotS is the popular categories game, also known as Scattergories, City Country River, or simply Stop.

First, players choose a set of categories to form the basis of the game. Examples include Names, Animals, Objects, and many more. Once selected, a random letter is generated for all players, and a new round begins. Everyone must fill each category with a word starting with that given letter. The first player to complete all categories hits the "STOP!" button, immediately pausing all other players' answers. Through a voting system, players review the answers to determine their validity. Each valid answer earns 10 points, repeated answers get 5 points, and invalid ones score zero. This sequence repeats until a predetermined round limit is reached.
