2024: une année de bandes dessinées exceptionnelles
En 2024, les lecteurs ont trouvé le réconfort dans des récits familiers, mais les offres de cette année ont transcendé l'ordinaire, repoussant les frontières créatives. Naviguer dans le volume des bandes dessinées hebdomadaires de grands éditeurs et les divers romans graphiques disponibles est un défi. Cette liste met en évidence certains des titres hors concours de 2024.

Batman: Zdarsky Run
Une bande dessinée techniquement impressionnante mais finalement décevante. La lutte contre le mauvais Batman s'est avéré largement sans inspiration, à l'exception d'un neuro-arc remarquable avec le Joker.
Nightwing par Tom Taylor
Si la série s'est terminée plus tôt, elle se serait classée plus haut. Cependant, les problèmes ultérieurs ont souffert d'un remplissage excessif. Malgré ses défauts, il contenait des moments de brillance. Son potentiel n'était malheureusement pas réalisé.
Lame + lame: bande rouge
Alors que l'adaptation cinématographique a été confrontée à des retards, la bande dessinée a livré un mélange satisfaisant d'action et des sensations fortes en viande de vampires.
Vengeance de la lune Knight + Moon Knight: Fist de Khonshu
Un sac mélangé pour Moon Knight. La résurrection précipitée a sapé plusieurs points de l'intrigue, laissant certains aspects sous-développés. Des espoirs demeurent pour les futurs versements pour rectifier ces problèmes.
Étrangers
Une réimagination du planétaire intégré de manière transparente dans l'univers DC. Bien que le méta-commentaire soit parfois lourd, il ne nuise pas à la qualité globale.
Ivy de poison
Une série étonnamment longue (30+ numéros!) Qui propose constamment un mélange de narration intrigantes et parfois inégales. Son charme psychédélique reste cohérent.
Batman et Robin par Joshua Williamson
Le retour de Williamson avec Damien Wayne explore de nouveaux défis (école!). Bien qu'il ne soit pas aussi fort que sa première série Robin , c'est une histoire convaincante de la maturité en mettant l'accent sur les relations père-fils et la découverte de soi.
Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver
Une bande dessinée charmante et esthétique de Dark Horse. Sa narration simple mais efficace est un changement de rythme rafraîchissant.
La série Flash par Simon Spurrier
Une lecture délibérément complexe et difficile. Bien que ce ne soit pas pour tout le monde, la narration non conventionnelle de Spurrier récompense les lecteurs des patients avec un récit unique et imprévisible.
L'immortel Thor par al ewing
Malgré son rythme lent et sa dépendance à l'égard des références aux œuvres précédentes, la vision créative d'Ewing et ses œuvres d'art époustouflantes en font une lecture intéressante pour ceux qui ont investi dans ses scénarios de longue date.
Venin + guerre du venin
Une série chaotique mais captivante qui laisse un impact durable.
John Constantine, Hellblazer: Dead in America
La partie britannique est exceptionnelle, tandis que la section américaine est moins réussie. Malgré ses défauts, la représentation de Spurrier de Constantin reste convaincante.
Ultimate X-Men par Peach Momoko
Un mélange unique de mangas, d'horreur psychologique et de X-Men, magnifiquement illustré par Peach Momoko.

The 2024 “Battlegrounds: Return to the Arena” teaser hinted at a return to the game’s roots, including nostalgic mechanics. What’s the Verdict? Not currently in the game.
