AFK Journey Teams Up with Fairy Tail for May Launch

Exciting news for fans of AFK Journey! The game is set to embark on its first crossover event, and it's teaming up with none other than the beloved Japanese manga series, Fairy Tail, created by Hiro Mashima. This collaboration promises to infuse the game with even more magic and adventure.

Who Are the Guests in AFK Journey’s First Crossover with Fairy Tail?

The crossover event will feature two of Fairy Tail's most iconic characters: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. These fan-favorites will join the game as part of the new Dimensional faction, adding a fresh twist to the gameplay.

Natsu Dragneel is confirmed to be an S-level character, which aligns perfectly with his fiery and relentless personality. Meanwhile, Lucy Heartfilia will enter the game as an A-level character, potentially making her a bit more accessible to players. While their specific roles or classes remain under wraps, the inclusion of these characters is sure to shake up the game's dynamics and possibly influence the meta.

When Is the Crossover Launching?

Mark your calendars! The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collaboration will launch on Android on May 1st, 2025. While the duration of the event hasn't been disclosed yet, the developers have released an exciting trailer, which you can view right here:

Unlike its predecessor, AFK Arena, AFK Journey is a 3D open-world RPG. This means players will get to see Fairy Tail characters like Natsu and Lucy in a stunning 3D environment, rather than just as flat anime-style images, enhancing the overall gaming experience.

Currently, AFK Journey is running an event called Justice Descends, where players can meet the new Celestial Hero, Athalia, and collect Stellar Crystals and Temporal Essences. Additionally, the Dawnlight Revelry event is happening with even more rewards up for grabs. Be sure to check out the game on the Google Play Store to participate in these exciting events.
