Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0 Brings Lobby Revamp and New Portals Game Mode

Roblox developer Kitawari has released Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, a major update bringing significant changes to this tower defense game. The update introduces a revamped unit lineup, a completely overhauled lobby, and numerous quality-of-life improvements designed to enhance the overall player experience.

This winter-themed update offers a wealth of new content. The most striking change is the completely redesigned lobby, providing significantly more space and a more visually appealing environment for players. The update also boasts a remastered user interface, including a cleaner and more intuitive stage selection screen. Kitawari explains in the patch notes: “We heard your issues with our current lobby; it was too small and cramped, and we were running out of places to put new game modes. Get ready for our stunning new lobby – 10x more impressive than anything you’ve seen, featuring a customizable Day and Night cycle which you can check out in Settings!”

A key addition is the new "Portals" game mode, encouraging players to utilize winter units and skins for increased rewards. A Sandbox Mode also allows for unrestricted experimentation with strategies. Twelve new units are introduced across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and leaderboard rewards.

Quality-of-life enhancements include smoother unit placement, improved Evolution Quests visibility (now in a dedicated tab), searchable skin and familiar windows, and clearer enemy targeting indicators for units. These improvements streamline gameplay and enhance user experience.
