At the start of the year, Amazon showcased the newly released 27" AOC Q27G4ZD gaming monitor, featuring a QD-OLED display, 2560x1440 resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate, initially priced at just $470. Although it sold out rapidly, it's now available again at an even more attractive price. This represents the lowest price we've seen for a genuine OLED gaming monitor, surpassing even Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. AOC, a prominent Taiwanese brand, is renowned for its gaming monitors worldwide.

The AOC Q27G4ZD is a 27-inch monitor with a 2560x1440 or QHD resolution, delivering a solid 108ppi pixel density. It boasts a 240Hz refresh rate, ideal for most FPS gamers, and is G-Sync compatible. The monitor uses a Samsung quantum dot OLED panel, which is brighter than traditional OLEDs while preserving the deep blacks, extensive color range, and near-instantaneous response times characteristic of OLED technology. It's certified HDR True Black 400 and offers an impressive 110% DCI-P3 and 148% sRGB color gamut.
In terms of connectivity, the Q27G4ZD offers two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. It also includes built-in speakers for casual use without a headset. AOC backs this monitor with a 3-year warranty, featuring a zero bright pixel guarantee.
While we at IGN have not yet reviewed this monitor, OLED technology is well-established and typically comes with a higher price tag. This deal presents an exceptional opportunity to purchase an OLED-equipped monitor at a budget-friendly price.
