Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January! This new phase, announced on December 25, 2024 by Niche Gamer, boasts significant improvements and additions based on player feedback from the previous test.

Key Updates for the January Beta:

• Expanded Roster: The playable character count increases to 15, including two Endministrators, all featuring updated models, animations, and special effects.
• Enhanced Combat: Experience refined combat mechanics with new combo skills and a newly implemented dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more rewarding gameplay loop.
• Base Building Overhaul: The base building system receives a significant update with new defensive structures, expanded factory construction options via outposts, and enhanced tutorial levels.
• Story and Level Design: Expect a revised storyline, fresh maps, and engaging new puzzles to explore.
• Language Options: Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Beta Test Sign-Up:

Registration opened on December 14, 2024. While the application deadline and beta test start date remain unannounced, selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1:

Concurrent with the beta test announcement, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. This program offers selected creators access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

Two content categories are open for applications: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, fanart, cosplay, etc.). While requirements differ slightly, all applicants must own their accounts, submit original and relevant content, and provide links to past work. Note that meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee acceptance. The application period runs from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
